Maryrose C. Coiner, PhD

My practice addresses a broad range of mental health problems including anxiety and depression. One particular focus is the general area of sudden loss, major life changes, grieving and rebuilding.

  • Private practice, full time 1990 – present. Individual, couple, parent and family treatment.
  • Consultation to the Massachusetts Center for Sudden Infant Death, 1992-2015.
  • Framingham Union Hospital, 1980 – 1990, Staff psychologist. Initial assessment of inpatients, participation in team treatment planning, administrative input, group treatment, and group supervision of staff.
  • Lancaster Career Development Center, Lancaster, PA, 1979-80. Psychological evaluation, part-time, as part of short-term consultation programs for men and women making career choices.

  • St. Raphael’s Hospital, Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic, New Haven, CT, October 1975 – July 1976. Individual psychotherapy practicum, adult, part-time.
  • University of Colorado Medical Center, Denver, CO, September 1973 – August 1974. Pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology, full-time. Duties included full responsibility for adult inpatients in short-term milieu treatment; outpatient therapy with children, adolescents, and adults; psychodiagnostics; school consultation.

Location

My Framingham office is located at 600 Worcester Rd which is on the eastbound side of Rt 9 just east of the intersection with Prospect St. It is directly across Rt 9 from Whole Foods.
